  • 1-Bushel of Kale
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Gloves
  • Lg. Baking Pan/ Sheet Tray

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat Oven 350 Degrees

Step 2: Wash a fresh bushel of Kale. Dry the washed Kale in a salad spinner. If you do not have a salad spinner, lay each Kale leaf on a flat surface with paper towels until it is dry. **It is important to make sure the entire Kale is dry or it will cook unevenly in the oven causing undercooked or burnt kale**

Step 3: Cut the stems off dry Kale. Discard.

Step 4: Cut the Kale leaves into small pieces which resemble the size of a regular potato chip.

Step 5: Place the cut Kale in a medium bowl. Drizzle (DO NOT POUR) olive oil over the cut Kale. Too much olive oil can cause the Kale chips to be too oily.

Step 6: With a pair of gloves, rub the olive oil onto each Kale leaf evenly. Add salt for taste.
